Mila Recipes

The February/March RunnerBox has Mila for everyone to try...so thought we'd share some recipes from the Lifemax site. The first one is perfect for Valentine's Day! Mila Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries
  • 9 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 pound strawberries with stems (about 20) washed and dried well
  • 1/2 scoop Mila, about 1 Tablespoon
Put the dark chocolate into a heatproof medium bowl. Fill a medium saucepan with a couple inches of water and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Turn off the heat; set the bowl of chocolate over the water to melt. Stir until smooth. (or use microwave at half power at one minute intervals to melt). Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, remove from heat and add Mila. Line a sheet pan with parchment or waxed paper. Holding the strawberry by the stem dip the fruit into the chocolate, letting the excess drip into the bowl. Set the berries on the parchment paper. Repeat and drizzle with any remaining chocolate. Let sit for 30 minutes or until set. Quick & Easy Energy Gel
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons Mila plus 1/2 cup water
Blend on high and put in gel bottle or ziplock bag and bite off corner when ready to eat/ingest. This recipe was created by Diane and Michael and The Vibrant Kitchen, and it is simple and good! Hope you enjoy trying out your Mila!
